News Topical, Digital Desk : Canadian police is investigating the firing incident at comedian Kapil Sharma's cafe in Canada. Initial investigations have raised suspicion of the involvement of Khalistani supporters. Meanwhile, founder of Khalistani organisation Sikh for Justice (SFJ) Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has released a threatening video.

Pannu released a video message saying, "Canada is not your playground. Take your hard-earned money back to India." She accused Kapil Sharma of spreading Hindutva ideology.

What did Pannu say?

Pannu said that Canada will not allow such thinking to flourish in its country. She also asked whether Kap's Cafe is a place for comedy or part of a conspiracy to spread Hindutva?

Let us tell you, Kapil Sharma opened his cafe in Surrey city of British Columbia on July 4. On the night of July 10, unknown people opened fire on this cafe. Harjeet Singh Ladi and Toofan Singh, who are associated with the banned terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), have taken responsibility for this attack.

BKI has also been declared a terrorist organization by the Canadian government and Harjeet Singh Ladi is also included in the most wanted list of India's National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Indian government has a strict eye on foil

Gurpatwant Singh Pannu was declared an individual terrorist by the Government of India in 2019. His organization SFJ is banned in India and is banned under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

The government says that SFJ is a threat to the integrity and internal security of India and that SFJ is linked to several militant organisations and promotes separatist activities in India.

104 cases registered against Pannu

There are 104 cases registered against Pannu in India, many of which are being investigated by the NIA and the respective states. According to the NIA, the aim of Pannu and SFJ is to destabilise the Indian government and spread unrest in several states including Punjab.
