News Topical, Digital Desk : A threat has been issued to bomb several locations in Ajmer. Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana said the threatening email was sent to the District Collector's office this afternoon (December 4). It states that the Dargah, along with the Ajmer nuclear plant and the Collectorate complex, will be blown up.
The Ajmer Dargah was completely evacuated after a bomb threat was received. Police, along with a bomb disposal squad, conducted a search operation within the dargah complex. Nothing suspicious was found. Devotees were evacuated from the dargah complex.
There was a stir in the investigating agencies
A bomb threat to the Khwaja Moinuddin shrine in Ajmer sent investigative agencies into a tizzy. Immediately, the information was received, agencies were put on alert. Following the threat, the agencies launched an investigation. Panic gripped the public.
There is nothing to fear – SP
Ajmer SP Vandita Rana stated that an email was received from an unverified account. The threats contained within are being verified. She added that the entire team is on the ground, including the BDS and dog squad, conducting checks. They have not yet found any suspicious objects. The SP appealed to everyone to remain calm, stating that there is no need to fear. "We are investigating everything," she said. The SP added that the email's whereabouts and who sent it are being verified.
