'BJP getting names of Muslim voters deleted', SP officials meet Ghazipur DM:A delegation of SP officials has submitted a memorandum to the Ghazipur District Magistrate and made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Election Commission.

News Topical, Digital Desk : In Ghazipur, the Election Department is sending notices to voters whose names remain unmapped under the SIR process. Voters who receive these notices are submitting valid forms to have their names registered on the voter list. The Samajwadi Party has now leveled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Election Commission.

The Samajwadi Party has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party's Mandal presidents and Panna in-charges are fraudulently filling out Form 7, obtaining forged signatures, and pressuring BLOs to remove the names of PDA voters, especially Muslim voters. The SP submitted a letter to the district magistrate, alleging rigging and demanding action. The Jangipur Sadar and Mohammadabad MLAs were among those who submitted the memorandum.

SP workers warned of a major agitation.

SP members say that if the administration doesn't take cognizance of this, they will be forced to launch a major protest in the future. The district president arrived at the District Magistrate's office carrying hundreds of forms. SP officials said that BJP workers had filled out these forms and given them to the BLO, but when SP workers arrived, they abandoned the forms and fled.

'Objections must be received by February 6'

District Magistrate Avinash Kumar stated that some objections have been received through Form 7 at some booths, and a delegation from the Samajwadi Party met with him regarding these issues. The District Magistrate stated that officials were informed at the meeting that objections in this matter would be received from January 6th to February 6th.

He clarified that all parties have the right to raise such objections. Therefore, if anyone raises an objection, our BLOs or our officials will have to take those objections. He also said that it is important to note that anyone raising an objection must be from this Assembly. He added that no nomination will be struck off without a hearing.
