New revelation in Jyoti Malhotra case
According to the information, Jyoti first lied about her personal relationship with Pakistani intelligence operative Danish. Investigation agencies found some apps on Jyoti's phone, whose chats get deleted within 24 hours. Investigation revealed that Jyoti shared most of the pictures through different apps. However, it is being investigated to whom these pictures were sent. Jyoti's two mobile phones and a laptop have now been sent for forensic investigation so that the deleted data can be retrieved. Interrogation and investigation have revealed that Jyoti's activities in Pakistan went far beyond cultural or religious tourism.
Pattern found in Jyoti's video
While examining Jyoti's videos, the investigating agencies noticed a pattern. Jyoti's videos claimed to be religious but there was less information about the religious places in the videos but more information about the borders. Security deployment on the borders was more focused. A similar pattern has also come to the fore in the blog related to Afghanistan border. The investigating teams are now investigating her international travel, which includes visits to Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Dubai, Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan.
Jyoti stayed in Pakistan for 20 extra days
Apart from this, Jyoti went to Pakistan to cover the Baisakhi festival on 17 May 2014. The festival ended after ten days, after which Jyoti stayed in Pakistan for more than 20 days, then went to China a month after returning. The agency is now trying to find out where Jyoti went in Pakistan after the festival, whom she met and whether her trip to China was fixed there.
