News Topical, Digital Desk : Visa can be cancelled if one stays in America beyond the stipulated time and the possibility of deportation cannot be ruled out. Not only this, such people may be ineligible to get US visa in future.

The US Embassy in India has clarified this by issuing a statement on Monday. The embassy said that staying in the US for longer than the authorized date is called 'overstay'.

The embassy said that there is no option for illegal entry into the US. Those accused of such crime will be sent back to their country or face criminal charges.
