News Topical, Digital Desk : The atmosphere at the Urban Service Camp being held on the Bhilwara Municipal Corporation campus became heated when Municipal Corporation Mayor Rakesh Pathak had a heated exchange with the Patwari of the Urban Development Trust. Complaints of the Patwari's continued negligence and failure to provide relief to the public reached the Mayor, prompting him to take a firm stance against the Patwari and complain to the Trust Secretary.

Mayor's statement and objectives

Municipal Corporation Mayor Rakesh Pathak said that under the direction of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, an urban service camp was organized on the municipal corporation premises. There were complaints about negligence and misleading of the public by the employees at the camp.

The mayor said that he raised the public's voice and tried to reason with the employee, but the employee refused to admit his mistake and blamed the public. Later, higher officials acknowledged the employee's mistake.

Negligence and administrative action

The patwari of the Urban Development Trust, who is in charge of the Municipal Corporation, has previously been negligent. The Mayor stated that despite verbal orders, the patwari did not comply. 

Due to this, many municipal works are stalled. He clarified that his intention is not to hurt the feelings of any employee or individual, but only to ensure relief and services to the public.

The final scene of the dispute

The situation escalated to the point where the altercation between the mayor and the patwari could be heard outside the camp. A crowd quickly gathered.

Mayor Rakesh Pathak continued to speak, while Patwari Singh continued to offer his explanation. Finally, OSD Chimanlal and Tehsildar Neeraj Rawat were called in to control the situation. They took the mayor aside to calm him down.
