"NASA, Axiom Space and SpaceX have scheduled the launch of Axiom Mission 4, the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, for early Wednesday, June 25," a NASA statement said.

Who else is included along with Shukla?

The Axiom-4 commercial mission is led by commander Peggy Whitson, with Shukla as the mission pilot. Astronauts Tibor Kapu of Hungary and Slawoj Ujnański-Wisniewski of Poland are mission specialists.

Launching was postponed several times

The launch of this mission was originally scheduled for May 29 but was postponed first to June 8, then to June 10 and then to June 11 after a liquid oxygen leak was detected in the Falcon-9 rocket's booster and also in an old Russian module of the International Space Station.

Earlier the date was 22 June

The launch was subsequently postponed to June 19 and then set for June 22 to allow NASA to assess the operation of the orbital laboratory following repair work on the Russian module.

Launching will take place from Kennedy Space Center

The mission will be launched from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA said the docking time would be around 7 am (4:30 pm Indian time) on Thursday, June 26.
