Axiom-4 mission postponed for the fourth time, Shubhanshu Shukla missed space flight, this big reason came to light

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who dreams of traveling to space, will have to wait a little longer. This is the fourth time its launch has been postponed. SpaceX company has given this information. SpaceX company said that a leak of liquid oxygen (LOx) has been found in a part of the rocket, due to which the launch has been postponed. This leak was found during the inspection of the rocket. Now the technical team is fixing this problem. No new date will be given until the repair is completed and permission for launch is granted.

After 41 years an Indian will go to space

Let us tell you that Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla was to leave for the International Space Station at 5:30 pm today. He was to fly from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. Three more astronauts are also going to go to the space station with Shubhanshu Shukla for 14 days in Space-X's Dragon capsule. The four astronauts were earlier supposed to leave on June 9, but due to bad weather, the Axiom-4 mission was postponed for two days. After this, this mission has been postponed again today.

Shubhanshu will be the first Indian to go to the ISS and the second Indian to go into space. An Indian astronaut is going into space 41 years after Captain Rakesh Sharma. 

What is the aim of Axiom-4 mission?

Now the question is what is the purpose of the mission on which the Axium-4 team including Shubhanshu Shukla is going? Actually, many scientific experiments are to be conducted in this mission.

• According to NASA, the mission will focus on science, outreach and commercial activities.
• The Axiom-4 team will also study seed germination and how plants grow in space.
• During this time, efforts will be made to find answers to the questions that how plants grow in almost zero gravity in space and what characteristics these plants will have.
• This time Indian scientists have also suggested 7 experiments.
• A research will also have to identify the causes responsible for muscle atrophy.
• Another interesting experiment will be with water bacteria.
