This incident took place in the city of Pittsburgh, located in the southwestern part of the US state of Pennsylvania. Rakesh Ehgaban, a 51-year-old businessman of Indian origin, used to run a motel in Robinson Township, Pittsburgh.

On Friday afternoon, some people were fighting outside his shop. Rakesh came out of the hotel and tried to calm the situation. The accused then shot Rakesh in the head. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

How was the crime committed?

The accused has been identified as 37-year-old Stanley Eugene West. Stanley was fighting with a woman in the parking lot outside the hotel. According to police, Rakesh came out and tried to calm the fight down. Rakesh asked Stanley, "Are you okay, friend?" Upon hearing this, Stanley shot Rakesh point-blank in the head.

The attacker also opened fire on the police

Stanley also shot the woman he was fighting with in the neck. Police have filed a case. When police arrived in East Hills, Pittsburgh, searching for the attacker, he began shooting at officers. However, police have arrested Stanley.
