News Topical, Digital Desk : Another strong earthquake struck Japan on Friday. The quake struck the northeastern coast, measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale. The Meteorological Agency immediately issued a tsunami advisory.

Friday's quake follows a 7.5 magnitude earthquake earlier this week in the north, which caused injuries, minor damage and a tsunami along the Pacific coast.
The tremor comes just five days after a powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck on Monday, injuring 34 people. There were no reports of casualties or property damage from Friday's quake.

A tsunami warning has been issued due to an earthquake that struck near the east coast of Aomori Prefecture on the morning of December 12.
