The meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Country, One Election will be held on Tuesday. The first session of the meeting will be held with former Supreme Court judge Justice Hemant Gupta. After this, the next session will be with former Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court SN Jha.

 

Four sessions of discussions with former judges

In the third session, former Supreme Court judge and chairman of the 21st Law Commission of the country, Justice BS Chauhan will be present, while in the final session, discussions will be held with Rajya Sabha member and senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

 

Website launch and extensive opinion-gathering effort

Earlier, regarding the website to be launched on One Country, One Election, Joint Parliamentary Committee Chairman PP Chaudhary had said, the committee has decided on two major things. The advertisement will be published in all languages ​​so that all stakeholders can give their opinion and secondly, the website will facilitate in getting inputs from all stakeholders.
