News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News: Azad Adhikar Sena's national president Amitabh Thakur has made serious allegations against UP CM Yogi Adityanath 's Special Officer Sanjeev Singh and has demanded an inquiry against him. Amitabh Thakur has written a letter to the Chief Minister claiming that Sanjeev Singh has deep connections with two software companies, namely Cyber System and Solution Pvt. Ltd. and Cyber Way System Pvt. Ltd. These companies make software related to sugarcane weighing in sugar mills.
According to Amitabh Thakur, complaints of underweighing have surfaced in the software of these companies, due to which poor farmers are not getting the right price for their crops. On the other hand, sugar mill owners are earning 20 to 30% extra profit.
Thakur claimed that Sanjeev Singh has indirect links with these companies. Two members of his family are directors in Cyber Systems, while his employees have been made directors in Cyber Way Systems.
4 cases were filed against the companies- Amitabh Thakur
The letter states that in 2019-20, 4 cases were filed against these companies in Gorakhpur, Balrampur and Ambedkar Nagar. No concrete action has been taken so far. Thakur alleged that the Sugar Industry Department had demanded technical investigation of these cases and investigation by an expert agency but it was rejected at the high level. According to the documents, many proposals reached the CM office but no action was taken. Thakur called it the result of Sanjeev Singh's influence.
Amitabh Thakur said that poor farmers are suffering huge losses due to underweighing. Calling it a very serious matter, he has appealed to the Chief Minister that it should be investigated by an Additional Chief Secretary level officer and the CM himself should monitor it. Also, he has demanded that if the allegations are found to be true, then Sanjeev Singh should be immediately removed from the post of OSD.
