Akhilesh Yadav raised questions on the merger of schools, said- 'If schools are far away then daughters...':

Akhilesh Yadav had come to Kannauj on Saturday to attend a private function. Talking to journalists here, he accused the BJP government of ignoring the public, he cornered the government on issues like school merger, negligence of health services, transfer policy and rising inflation.

Akhilesh Yadav said that Samajwadi Party is against the decision to merge schools. If schools are far from home, how will children, especially daughters, reach school? BJP government does not want to give jobs. That is why it is conspiring to reduce schools. He stressed that this decision is harmful for education, especially the education of daughters.

Questions raised on transfer-posting

Speaking on the shortcomings of the health department, Akhilesh said that how will the patients in the ICU survive without electricity? Transfers are not happening in the health department, the government's time is running out. That is why their people are only engaged in earning money through transfers and postings.

A dig at Kanpur controversy

Along with this, taking a dig at the DM-CMO dispute in Kanpur, Akhilesh Yadav said that earlier the engines (leaders) were fighting, now even the small compartments (officers) are fighting. MLAs also got entangled in this affair. He also took a dig at the internal strife of BJP.

Akhilesh Yadav said that if the SP government is formed, memorials will be built, in which statues of Mata Ahilyabai, Raja Harshvardhan and Maharana Pratap will be built, in which Maharana Pratap's statue will have a gold spear. Along with this, discounts will be given on e-rickshaws and vehicles beneficial for the environment, bicycles will get special discounts.

While on the question of alliance, Akhilesh Yadav said that all the upcoming elections will be fought with the old alliance.

Inflation and attack on gold prices

Akhilesh Yadav expressed concern over rising inflation and said that BJP is making its people do profiteering. Inflation will also increase due to global wars. Gold has become so expensive that a poor person cannot give anything made of gold in his daughter's wedding. BJP wants to avoid this question by doing yoga.
