News Topical, Digital Desk : In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a fearful atmosphere prevails in Bhagwan Nagar Colony due to the presence of rowdy youths. "House for sale" posters have appeared on more than 40 houses in the colony. Due to the ongoing harassment, many families are being forced to sell their homes and feel insecure.

Local residents say that some rowdy young men engage in daily disputes and physical violence. They allege that these men constantly threaten and resort to violence if they resist. Many families in the colony report that it has become difficult for children and women to leave their homes. Disputes erupt daily over one thing or another, creating a tense atmosphere. Consequently, "House for Sale" posters have been put up outside many homes.

No action taken even after complaint

Local residents say that a complaint regarding this matter was previously filed with the police, but no concrete action was taken. According to residents, even after the complaint, the youths' emboldened them and continued to issue threats. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and engaged in pacifying the residents. They appealed for peace and assured an investigation. This incident reportedly occurred in Bhagwan Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Kamla Nagar police station.

Family dispute turned out to be the real reason

ACP Chhata Sheshmani Upadhyay stated that the investigation revealed that a man named Shahzad lives in the house of a widow named Sitara Begum. Sitara Begum wants her house vacated by Shahzad and his children. Shahzad has informed the police that he will not live in the house and will leave with his family. The ACP stated that the matter involved a family dispute and that a settlement has been reached through negotiations between the two parties. The situation is currently reported to be normal.
