News Topical, Digital Desk : Agra News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Agra's Sikandra police station area. Four teenagers who went to take a bath in the Yamuna river drowned in the deep water. Actually, four teenagers from Akbara in Sikandra police station area had gone to take a bath in the Yamuna river. While bathing, all four went into deep water and started drowning.

During this time there was a lot of shouting and screaming, people gathered around after hearing the screams of the children. Two teenagers were rescued safely by the local people, while two went missing in the deep water. When the family came to know about the incident, there was a furore among the family members and they also reached the spot and started praying for the safety of their children. 

The local police was informed about this incident. Along with the police team, senior officials also reached the spot. Rescue operations are being carried out actively by SDRF and PAC teams. The search for the children is going on with the help of steamers and divers. The teams are constantly engaged in searching for the children. The police is investigating whether the children slipped and went into deep water or there was some other reason. It is difficult to say anything until the children drowned in the Yamuna river are found. 

What did DCP Sonam Kumar say on the incident?
On receiving information about this incident, DCP City Sonam Kumar himself reached the spot to take stock of the incident. Giving information, DCP City Sonam Kumar said that 4 teenagers living in Akbara had come to take bath in Yamuna river. During this time they drowned in deep water, out of which 2 have been rescued safely and the search for 2 is going on. SDRF and PAC teams are jointly engaged in efforts to find the teenagers drowned in the deep water of Yamuna river with the help of divers and steamers.
