The wind speed is likely to be 10-20 km / hour. Scorching heat will start in Delhi-NCR. Heat wave is also expected.
There is a possibility of intense heat and light drizzle in many districts of UP
At the same time, the weather of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Bihar is likely to remain hot and dry till Wednesday. There is a possibility of light drizzle with thunder in some areas. The temperature in eastern UP (like Varanasi and Prayagraj) can go up to 42-43 degrees Celsius, while in western UP (like Agra, Meerut) the temperature can be up to 40-41 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light rain or dust storm in western UP due to the effect of western disturbance between 14 and 16 April. At the same time, the effect of heat wave will remain in eastern UP. The temperature in Lucknow will remain between 40-42 degrees Celsius. Hot winds will blow during this time.
The mercury will rise in these two districts of Haryana
Haryana is expected to have a maximum of 38-42°C, a minimum of 22-26°C. Areas like Hisar and Karnal will experience intense heat. Areas adjoining Punjab (like Ambala, Kurukshetra) are likely to receive light rains with strong winds (30-40 km/hr) on April 14 and 15. Gurugram and Faridabad will experience heatwave conditions.
Temperatures will reach 42 in Patna and heatwaves will continue
Maximum temperature in Bihar 38-42 degrees Celsius, minimum 24-28 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in Patna and Gaya may reach 41-42 degrees Celsius. The local meteorological department said that light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely in North Bihar (such as Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga) from 14 to 16 April.
