News Topical, Digital Desk : A young woman from a village in the rural police station was engaged to a young man from Kachwan Barka Godown. The wedding was scheduled for April 20th. Both parties were preparing for a grand wedding. Relatives had even arrived at the bride and groom's homes.
Meanwhile, the groom fled from his home on April 19th, a day before the wedding. Upon learning of this, both the groom's and bride's families searched for him all day and night, but he was nowhere to be found.
In the evening, when both sides conferred, the groom's father told the bride's family that his son had run away and was untraceable. Therefore, they were marrying him to another man. The bride's family agreed. Then the second groom also fell ill. This worried everyone. They wondered what would happen next.
A third groom was hastily found and the marriage was finalized. The wedding procession arrived at the woman's home on April 20th. The wedding took place, but the bride was not sent off.
Due to this, the girl remains at her parents' home even after marriage. Distressed by this, the girl's family has complained to the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police (SP) and demanded that a case of fraud be filed against her in-laws. The Superintendent of Police assured that the matter will be investigated and action will be taken.
