News Topical, Digital Desk : There was a gas leak in an oil company in Pithampur near Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday (7 September) evening. Three employees died in the accident. This incident took place between 6 to 6.30 pm in Sagar Oil Company located in Bagdoon police station area.

According to company manager Lokesh Gupta, gas suddenly leaked during work in the plant. During this, a worker fell unconscious. Two other colleagues who came to rescue him also got affected by the gas. The deceased have been identified as Sunil (35), Deepak (30) and Jagdish, residents of Indorama Pithampur.

All three were immediately taken to the hospital. First they were referred to a nearby hospital and then to MY Hospital Indore, where doctors declared them dead. Bagdoon TI Rajendra Soni said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and the workers were sent to the hospital. The family members are also present in the factory.
