News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrifying incident took place on Tuesday in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. A deranged young man slit the throat of a young woman in broad daylight on Amgaon Road in the Baihar police station area. The accused claimed that she had been with him for the past five years but was now cheating on him.

During this time, people present at the scene only kept filming. No one tried to save the girl. ASP Adarshkant Shukla said that a case has been registered and the accused has been arrested. He is being interrogated. The accused fell unconscious after the murder.

According to police, Sheetal, a resident of Amgaon, was a saleswoman at Baihar's shop, while the accused, Roshan, was from another village, Motinala, and worked at a dhaba. Sheetal was walking to the bus stop in the morning when Roshan arrived on his bike and began arguing with her.

Suddenly, he pulled a knife from his pocket and attacked Sheetal's neck. The woman fell, but Roshan held the knife until she died. After the murder, he cleaned his blood-stained hands with Sheetal's scarf and fell unconscious with the deceased's head in his lap. Following the incident, people beat the accused severely and handed him over to the police.
