News Topical, Digital Desk : A new twist has emerged in the highly controversial transporter Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. Shillong police have now declared two men, arrested on charges of destroying evidence, innocent. A detailed investigation found no evidence of their involvement in the murder, nor could they confirm the destruction of evidence.

The police have filed a charge sheet in the case. The names of the two accused are not included in it. They are already out on bail. Police officials have indicated that the case will be listed for trial soon. Sonam, who was on her honeymoon after Raja Raghuvanshi's murder, came to Indore and stayed in a rented flat there for a few days.

In this case, Shillong Police had arrested the building's security guard Balveer Ahirwar, building owner Lokendra Singh Tomar and flat broker Shilom James.

However, now Shillong's East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Siem said that detailed investigation did not reveal any role of Balveer and Lokendra, hence they have been discharged from the charges.
