UP News: The program for the winter session of the UP Assembly has been released. This time the session is starting from December 16. The supplementary budget will be presented on December 17. This supplementary budget will focus on Maha Kumbh, which is likely to be around 10,000 crores. This will be the second supplementary budget of the Yogi government, while the first supplementary budget was presented in July, this supplementary budget was of Rs 12,209 crores.

Regarding the supplementary budget, it is believed that a large part of it will be related to Maha Kumbh. In which the Transport Department, Urban Development Department and other departments related to Kumbh will be allocated. At the same time, Industrial Development and MSME are also expected to be given a share in the budget. Proposals have been sought from all departments regarding the supplementary budget.

According to the program released for the winter session, on the first day, 16 December, along with formal work, ordinance notifications and rules etc. will be tabled in the assembly. Along with this, legislative work will be done, on the second day, 17 December, ordinance notifications and rules etc. will also be tabled in the House. On the same day at 12:30 pm, the second supplementary budget of 2024-25 will be presented.

Legislative work will be done for three days.
After the supplementary budget is presented, the government will pass it after discussing the grant demands of the supplementary budget on 18 December, after which legislative work will also be done. Legislative work will be done on 19 December and 20 December. On 20 December, the House will function for half a day. However, during this time there is a possibility of uproar in the assembly by SP over the Sambhal violence.

This is the second session for SP when Akhilesh Yadav will not be present in the assembly. On the other hand, the issue of demand for caste census during the past sessions can be raised in the assembly this time too. Let us tell you that before the assembly session begins, the members of NDA who won the by-elections have already taken oath.
