Agra News: There was a late night encounter between Agra police and criminals in which one criminal was injured after being shot in the leg, while two criminals were arrested from the spot. The accused who were arrested had committed a theft of lakhs of rupees at the house of the manager of the medical college a few days ago and were also involved in other incidents including this.

Actually, the police had an encounter with three clever thieves in the Etmaddaula police station area. After the theft of lakhs of rupees, the police was searching for the accused and finally the police got success. The police had received information that the clever thieves who committed the theft in the area were passing through the area. As soon as the information about the clever thieves was received, the police team came on active mode and went out to surround the thieves. The Etmaddaula police station team started surrounding the thieves. Seeing themselves surrounded, the thieves opened deadly fire on the police team. After which the police team opened fire in self-defense in which accused Abhishek got shot in the leg, while two accused were arrested from the spot.

Police have recovered Rs 3.5 lakh from the thieves.
The injured accused has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The arrested accused Abhishek is a resident of Etawah and is a history-sheeter. More than ten cases are registered against him. About Rs 3.5 lakh, gold and silver jewellery and illegal weapons have been recovered from the possession of the three arrested thieves Abhishek, Rajat and Ashu. 

There has been an encounter between the police and the cunning thieves in the Etmaduddaula police station area. This gang had escaped after committing a theft of lakhs of rupees. On this entire matter, DCP City Suraj Rai said that on information, the Etmaduddaula police team surrounded the thieves, upon which the accused Abhishek opened fire on the police team. In retaliatory action, the accused Abhishek was shot in the leg while two accomplices were arrested from the spot. Lakhs of rupees were stolen from the house of the manager of the medical college. 3.5 lakh rupees, an illegal weapon, gold and silver ornaments were recovered from the possession of the arrested thieves. The injured accused has been admitted to the hospital. Further legal action is being taken.
