Continuous reactions are coming from BJP leaders on the case of assault on Rajya Sabha MP from Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party leader Swati Maliwal. A case has been registered against CM Arvind Kejriwal's PM Vibhav Kumar, but BJP says that Arvind Kejriwal should resign from the post of CM.

CM Himanta asked questions to Kejriwal

On this matter, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma targeted CM Kejriwal. He said, "Why is Kejriwal still roaming with Bibhav Kumar and why is he not taking action against him?"

What happened was wrong: CM Himanta 

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "There should be no politics on this matter. We are not ideologically with her (Swati Maliwal), but when there is a crime against women, it is our job to raise our voice. Swati Maliwal has filed a petition. She has complained to the Delhi Police that what happened to her is very wrong. The question is where was he (Arvind Kejriwal) when this was happening? He is still roaming with that man (Vibhav Kumar), why is he not taking action against him?"

Earlier on May 16, BJP national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala had claimed that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was protecting his assistant Vibhav Kumar, who is accused in the case.

Swati Maliwal has filed a two and a half page complaint with the police. In this complaint, Swati Maliwal said that Bibhav Kumar beat her very badly and for a long time. He slapped her, kicked her, hit her in the stomach and injured other parts of the body. Due to this, she became unconscious.

Police is investigating every angle 

Delhi Police informed that whoever's role is found out in the investigation will be made an accused. Police will also investigate the angle of conspiracy. On Friday, police will go to the Chief Minister's residence to investigate the footage of CCTV cameras and to make inquiries.
