New Delhi. Nearly 40 Indians have died so far in a fire that broke out in a multi-storey building in Mangaf city of Kuwait on Wednesday morning. At the same time, more than 50 people have been injured in this accident. All the injured are being treated in five government hospitals of Kuwait. After this tragic accident, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh visited Mubarak Al Kabir Hospital in Kuwait.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs visited the hospital

During this time, he enquired about the well-being of all the injured and assured them of full support of the Government of India. During his visit, the Minister of State for External Affairs praised the hospital officials, doctors and nurses for taking good care of the Indians. It is known that seven injured are being treated at Kabir Hospital.

Jaber Hospital was also visited

Earlier, after reaching Kuwait, he immediately went to Jaber Hospital to know the condition of Indians. During this, he met six injured Indians undergoing treatment in the hospital.

When will the bodies be brought back home?

Here, Kuwait's Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya has assured Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh to send the bodies of all the Indians killed in this accident back to their country as soon as possible. Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya expressed his condolences to those killed in this incident. He said during this time that there will be no shortage in the medical care of the injured.

Indian Air Force aircraft kept on stand-by

News agency ANI quoted defence officials as saying that the Indian Air Force's C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft has been kept on stand-by at Hindon airbase to bring back the bodies of Indians who lost their lives in the fire.
