Mangala Aarti is performed daily in Kashi Vishwanath Temple during Brahma Muhurta from 03:00 am to 04:00 am. Mangala Aarti is performed one and a half hour before sunrise. The period of one and a half hour before sunrise is called Brahma Muhurta. Brahma Muhurta is very auspicious. From this time darkness starts to disappear. Due to this all living beings and humans start becoming awake. For this Mangala Aarti is performed during Brahma Muhurta. Devotees are allowed entry till 03:00 am to participate in Mangala Aarti.
