New Delhi. Canada's love for Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar is not diminishing. The Canadian Parliament on Tuesday observed a minute's silence for Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in the House of Commons.
In the House of Commons, first Speaker Greg Fergus read out a condolence message for Nijjar. After this, he asked all the MPs to observe silence for the Khalistani terrorist.
At the same time, India has also given a befitting reply to this decision of the Canadian Parliament. India has criticized the Trudeau government while remembering the anniversary of the bombing of Air India's Kanishka plane.
Canada accuses India of false charges over the death of terrorist Nijjar
Let us tell you that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in Surrey, Canada on 18 June 2023. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau blamed Indian agencies for Nijjar's death, after which relations between the two countries deteriorated. India clearly said that all the allegations made by Canada are baseless.
India gave a strong response
The Indian Consulate General in Vancouver, Canada has planned a memorial service to pay tribute to the 329 victims of the Khalistani bomb attack on Air India Flight Kanishka-182 in 1985.
"India is at the forefront in combating the threat of terrorism and works closely with all countries to combat this global menace. 23 June 2024 will mark the 39th anniversary of the cowardly terrorist bombing of Air India Flight 182 (Kanishka), which claimed the lives of 329 innocent people, including 86 children," the Consulate General wrote in a post on X.
The Consulate General further wrote, "Indian expatriates can visit the Air India Memorial at 6:30 pm on 23rd June at the Ceperley Playground area of Stanley Park to pay homage to the victims who lost their lives in this terrorist attack."
Trudeau initiated peace
Let us tell you that a few days ago, PM Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met at the G-7 summit. After this meeting, Trudeau said on Tuesday that there is coordination with India on many major issues and he sees an opportunity to talk with the new Indian government on various issues including economic relations and national security.
It was believed that Canada was trying to improve relations with India, but Canada's sympathy for terrorist Nijjar is not decreasing.
