Delhi News: A few months ago, more than 10,000 people working as marshals in Delhi's DTC buses were suddenly rendered unemployed. Since that day, thousands of bus marshals have been pleading with the Delhi government for jobs. They even took to the streets and during this time more than a dozen of their colleagues passed away demanding jobs. But till date, no minister, MLA or MP of Delhi has paid attention to this serious problem of theirs.

Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj assured help

But now thousands of marshals have seen a ray of hope in the form of Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj. He has assured them of all possible help. Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that all bus marshals, whether they are men or women, should meet all the ministers, MLAs and MPs of Delhi and request them to meet the Lieutenant Governor on a fixed date, where he will also be present with them and will try to find a solution by talking to the Lieutenant Governor regarding their job.

Saurabh Bhardwaj told this solution.

Minister Bhardwaj said that he will sign whatever paper the lieutenant governor asks him to sign for reinstating the former marshals in their jobs. He says that so far whichever minister, MLA or MP these unemployed bus marshals go to, they are turned away saying that this work is not in their hands. Therefore he wants that all the MLAs, ministers, MPs should meet the lieutenant governor on a fixed time on a particular day and whichever officer is authorized for this should solve this serious problem of theirs by signing the concerned papers as approval on the spot.

The minister said that all the MLAs, ministers and MPs of Aam Aadmi Party are ready and he appeals to the MLAs and MPs of Bharatiya Janata Party to meet the Lieutenant Governor together at a fixed time to resolve their problem.

Families of more than 10 thousand marshals are on the verge of starvation

. Former bus marshal Mukesh Pal Singh said that the services of 10 thousand 798 bus marshals were suddenly terminated and since then they are roaming the streets unemployed. During this time more than a dozen of his colleagues were martyred in the fight to get a job. All of them were giving their services in DTC for more than 10 years, but due to termination of their services they have become unemployed and a serious financial situation has arisen in front of them. Families of more than 10 thousand marshals are on the verge of starvation today.

After so many years of service, he is not getting any job anywhere else. Therefore, he requests all the MLAs, ministers and MPs of Delhi to meet the Lieutenant Governor on a fixed date and find a solution to this serious problem and help him get out of the quagmire of unemployment.
