According to health experts, one should never eat protein-rich food items, sour fruits or too many dairy products with tea or coffee because the mixture of both can prove to be very dangerous for the body. 

These things should never be eaten with tea

Most of us love tea and for many it is difficult to imagine a day without a cup of hot tea. If you are a tea lover then a cup of hot tea is enough to improve your mood. Apart from milk tea, there are many types of tea that people consume around the world. In India, our breakfast or evening snack is not complete without tea. But you may be surprised to know that there are some food items that you should avoid eating with tea.

Eating any such thing with tea causes many problems in the body. Such as bloating, constipation, indigestion and skin related problems. Guests are usually served snacks with tea. These snacks are usually made of gram flour. Eating pakoras or namkeen with tea can cause digestive problems, which can later cause acidity.

Tannins are found in tea which destroy iron and other nutrients found in salty snacks. Eating pakoras with tea can weaken the digestive system. This can cause many other stomach related problems, so never eat salty or gram flour based things with tea. Eating these things with tea is also harmful  1. Tea and lemon
 

One should not eat anything sour or made of lemon with tea. Actually, tea can create acid in the stomach by mixing with the acidic elements found in lemon. This can cause heartburn and swelling.
 
2. Egg, salad or sprouted grains

One should never consume things made from eggs or onions with tea. Apart from this, one should also not eat sprouted grains and salad. Never eat eggs or salad with tea for breakfast. This destroys nutrients and affects the health of the stomach.

3. Turmeric

Turmeric foods should be avoided while drinking tea as it can also cause stomach problems like gas, acidity or constipation. The combination of turmeric and tea leaves is not suitable for the body.
