However, flood-like conditions still persist in some states due to excessive rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert across the country for the next four to five days. In such a situation, rain is expected in almost all parts of the country till July 15. At the same time, the risk of landslides has also increased due to the rain that is pouring like a disaster on the mountains.

It may rain in Delhi today

It has been raining in some areas of Delhi for the last two days. Due to this people have got some relief from the heat. However, the humidity has also increased due to the rain for some time. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on July 11, the sky will be cloudy and it may rain at some places. According to the IMD forecast, drizzle may be seen in some areas of Delhi today.

Today, the maximum temperature of the capital is expected to be 36 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has also predicted rain in Delhi for the next five days.

Monsoon weakened in Himachal

The monsoon has weakened in Himachal. The minimum temperature is likely to fall by one degree Celsius in many parts of the state. Under which the temperature will fall in the areas adjoining Kangra and Shimla. Whereas the minimum temperature will remain the same in the lower areas. Monsoon rain is occurring in most places of the state, as a result of which the minimum temperature is falling.

Director of Meteorological Department Dr. Surendra Pal said that the intensity of monsoon has reduced. There is a possibility of light rain at some places in most parts of the state till July 16. On Wednesday, light rain occurred at six places in the state and heavy rain at some places.

Red alert for rain in 5 districts of Bihar

The effect of monsoon is visible in the state including the capital Patna. Due to this, it is raining in different parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of scattered rain with thunder in most parts of the state including Patna on Thursday.

A red alert has been issued for extremely heavy rainfall in five districts of the state, East and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Kishanganj, and Shivhar. An orange alert has been issued for extremely heavy rainfall in the Saran, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, and Purnia districts. There is a possibility of sporadic rainfall at different places in the remaining districts of the state.

Lightning wreaks havoc in Uttar Pradesh

Floods, rain, and lightning have disrupted the lives of people in Uttar Pradesh. There was some relief from flood and rain on Wednesday but lightning and humidity wreaked havoc in eastern and central UP. There are reports of 47 deaths due to lightning here. Apart from this, five people also died due to lightning in Mainpuri. A large number of people have suffered burn injuries.

A total of 52 people lost their lives due to lightning alone in the state. The afternoon rain in Varanasi, Azamgarh and Mirzapur division districts gave relief to people from humidity and heat, but lightning took the lives of 11 people. 17 people including 16 women suffered burns. They have been admitted to various hospitals for treatment.

Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, and Kaushambi are in the grip of severe humidity due to lack of heavy rainfall despite the presence of clouds for the last three days. Here 12 people died in Pratapgarh due to lightning.
