Digital Desk, New Delhi. Weather Update: Delhiites are finally going to get relief from the scorching heat. Strong cold winds and clouds have been playing hide and seek in the national capital Delhi since morning. The Meteorological Department has also agreed that Delhiites will get some relief.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 2 hours, light to moderate intensity rain along with strong winds may occur in the areas of North Delhi, North-East Delhi, North-West Delhi, West Delhi, Central Delhi, NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon Air Force Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula). 

How will the weather be in Delhi today? 

The weather department has given good news to the people of Delhi. According to IMD, there may be light rain along with lightning in Delhi and NCR on Thursday. IMD said in its update that there may be dust storm, thunderstorm, light rain along with lightning along with gusty winds at the speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in Delhi today.

There will be heavy rain in some districts of Bihar 

Regarding the rain in Bihar, the weather department has predicted that there may be torrential rain in some districts. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in most parts of the northern parts of Bihar. Yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Araria, Kishanganj, Supaul and Madhubani. There is a possibility of strong wind flow along with the movement of clouds. Due to the change in weather, there is a possibility of partial drop in the temperature of southern parts including Patna.

 

There will be rain with strong winds in these states too 

In its 7:21 am update, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that during the next 3 hours, light to moderate rainfall at a few places along with thunderstorms and lightning/strong winds are likely over western Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, east Vidarbha, east Telangana and adjoining north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, south Gujarat, north Konkan, Goa and Karnataka.
