According to the Panchang, Shardiya Navratri begins with the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. During this time, worshiping the nine forms of Maa Durga has special significance. This festival concludes on the Navami date and the festival of Dussehra is celebrated with more enthusiasm the next day. Nine colors are dedicated to nine goddesses. It is believed that by wearing clothes of nine colors and worshiping on different days in Shardiya Navratri (Shardiya Navratri 2024), the person gets rid of evil powers and gets the blessings of Maa Durga. 

First Day

The first day of Shardiya Navratri (Shardiya Navratri 2024 Colours) is dedicated to Maa Shailputri . You should wear yellow color while worshiping Maa Shailputri. It is believed that worshiping by wearing clothes of this color makes life happy.

Second Day

On the second day, Maa Brahmacharini is worshipped. She is considered the goddess of penance. You can get special benefits by wearing green clothes during the worship on this day.

Third Day

 Mother Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. In such a situation, wearing grey coloured clothes on this day gives courage and strength to the person.  

Fourth Day

The fourth day is dedicated to Maa Kushmanda. You can wear grey colour while worshipping Maa Kushmanda. Wearing clothes of this colour pleases the Goddess.  

 

Day 5

On the fifth day, it is customary to worship Maa Skandmata. On this day, you should worship the Goddess by wearing white clothes and yellow is your favourite colour.  

Sixth day

All wishes are fulfilled by offering dark red clothes to Maa Katyayani. Wearing dark red clothes on this day proves beneficial for the person.

seventh day

The seventh day is dedicated to Maa Kalaratri. Wearing blue coloured clothes on this day increases happiness and prosperity for the person.  

Day Eight

On the eighth day, Maa Gauri is worshipped. Maa Mahagauri loves the green colour. Wearing clothes of this colour makes the married life happy.  

Ninth day

The last day is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri. Worshiping the mother bestows blessings of all kinds of siddhis and tantra vidya. Wearing red and purple coloured clothes is considered auspicious on this day.
