Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Monday revealed some important information about the situation on the border with Pakistan and China. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has said that the situation on the LAC in eastern Ladakh is currently sensitive but stable. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has also informed that patrolling and grazing of animals has started in traditional areas in Depsang and Demchok in eastern Ladakh.

 

We are capable of handling any situation: Army Chief

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has also warned the enemies on Monday. He has said that the deployment of the Indian Army is balanced and strong and our army is capable of dealing with any situation. The Army Chief has said that at present we are focusing on promoting infrastructure and capacity development on the border.

Infiltration attempts continue- Army Chief

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has also given information about the border with Pakistan. General Upendra Dwivedi has said that overall the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under control. Army Chief General Dwivedi has also informed that ceasefire is continuing on the Line of Control with Pakistan. However, the Army Chief has also informed that attempts of infiltration are also being made continuously from Pakistan.

 

60 percent of the terrorists killed were of Pakistani origin

While talking about the infiltration attempts along the Line of Control with Pakistan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi also talked about Pakistan's support to cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The Army Chief has said that the terrorist infrastructure on the Pakistani side is still intact. The Army Chief further said that 60 percent of the terrorists killed last year were of Pakistani origin.
