Basti News: A shocking incident has come to light from Basti district where Bajrang Dal workers entered the police station and created a ruckus, accusing a police officer of helping a wanted accused in more than a dozen cases escape from the police station.
During this time, Bajrang Dal workers started reciting Hanuman Chalisa to bring good sense to the police. To convince the Bajrang Dal leader, SO Sunil Kumar Gaur was seen sitting on the ground and pleading to calm down the situation, pleading to save his job.

Actually, this whole matter is related to luring and kidnapping an alleged minor girl. In this case, the accused Navratna alias Bholu Gupta, wanted in more than a dozen cases, escaped from police custody late in the evening. The minor's family got angry when the accused escaped from the police station.
The relatives of the minor accused the Lalganj police of letting the accused escape after taking money and started a ruckus by gheraoing the police station along with Bajrang Dal workers. The Bajrang Dal workers sat on a dharna in the police station premises demanding the suspension of the policemen deployed for the security of the police station and started raising slogans against the police administration.

SHO Sunil Kumar Gaur tried to pacify the situation by coaxing the workers but it did not work. The workers sitting on the dharna alleged that the policemen misbehaved and abused them. Police Circle Officer Sanjay Singh, who arrived on the information, assured to suspend the accused policemen and arrest the accused soon.
Despite this, the Bajrang Dal activists, who were sitting on a dharna along with the family of the minor, started reciting Hanuman Chalisa in the police station premises, demanding immediate action against the policemen and the arrest of the accused.
According to the information, the family members of a village in Lalganj police station area had given a written complaint to the police accusing the accused of luring and kidnapping a minor girl. It was stated that on 15th August a youth named Bholu Gupta lured and kidnapped the minor girl.
On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and started looking for him. Bajrang Dal district convenor Manmohan Tripathi said that on September 23, with the
help of Mahson outpost in-charge, the accused Bholu was arrested and brought to the police station, who was made to run away on the third day, September 25.
In this regard, Area Officer Sanjay Singh said that the absconding accused will be arrested soon and strict action will be taken against the policemen found guilty in the investigation.
