Anil Agarwal's Vedanta informed after the market closed on Friday that the company has extended the deadline of the scheme of arrangement of the companies. The company said that it has extended the deadline of the scheme of arrangement with Vedanta Aluminum Metal, Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, Malco Energy Limited and Vedanta Iron and Steel Limited to 30 September 2025. The company has given this information in the exchange filing.

The company said in an exchange filing, "Considering that the conditions precedent to the scheme, including approval of the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench and approval from certain government authorities, are in the process of being fulfilled, the board of the company and the resulting companies have exercised their powers under clause 39.7 of the scheme and have decided to extend the deadline for fulfilling the conditions precedent from March 31, 2025 to September 30, 2025." Share performance The company's stock closed 2.00 per cent lower at Rs 462.90 on Friday. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a gain of 70.40 per cent.
