New Delhi. Budget 2024: The Union Budget is presented every year on March 1. But, in the year when the Lok Sabha elections are held, the interim budget is presented in March and the Union Budget is presented after the formation of the new government.
There were Lok Sabha elections this year too. NDA got majority in the election results and NDA government was formed in the country.
On Sunday, Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time and on Monday he again took charge as the Prime Minister. After the formation of the new government, the focus of everyone from the general public to businessmen is on the Union Budget (Union Budget 2024-25).
It is expected that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget in the first week of July.
In the Union Budget, the government will focus on the development of many sectors. In the interim budget presented in March this year, Nirmala Sitharaman had said that a lot of work still remains to be done to make India a developed nation by 2047.
