Eat foods rich in vitamin C

Include foods rich in vitamin C in your diet , which can boost immunity and increase the level of acidity in your urine, which can kill infection-causing bacteria. In such a situation, to avoid UTI, you can include oranges, kiwi, grapes etc. in your diet.

If you hold urine for a long time due to any reason , then change this habit immediately. Actually, doing this increases the risk of infection in the urinary bladder. Therefore, to avoid this, pass urine immediately whenever you feel the need.

 

Cranberry

This is the most effective way to prevent UTI. These berries are rich in proanthocyanidins, a chemical compound that prevents E. coli bacteria from accumulating in the urinary bladder and reduces the risk of infection.

 

Wear cotton underwear

To avoid UTI, it is important that you use cotton underwear. With its help, your crotch area will remain dry. Often due to excessive moisture in this area, bacteria start growing, which can cause infection.

People often reduce their water intake during winters. In fact, people feel less thirsty during this season, due to which they drink less water during winters.
