The survey conducted by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in partnership with research and analytics firm YouGov said that Indian-Americans still stand behind the Democratic Party, but their inclination towards Republican candidate Donald Trump is increasing.
According to the information received, this analysis is based on an online survey conducted between 18 September and 15 October. More than 52 lakh people of Indian origin live in America. 61 percent of the Indian-origin people surveyed said that they would vote for Kamala Harris.
At the same time, 32 percent said they supported Donald Trump. It said that there has been a slight increase in the share of those voting for Trump. On the other hand, 67 percent of Indian-American women intend to vote for Kamala Harris, while 53 percent of men say they plan to vote for Kamala Harris.
At the same time, 22 percent of women intend to vote for Donald Trump, while 39 percent of men are planning to vote for him.
