US Presidential Election 2024:  The US presidential election is going to be held on November 5. Before this election, the first presidential debate took place between Republican Party leader Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

However, after this debate, there are speculations that Joe Biden will withdraw his nomination from the presidential election. Actually, Biden did not perform well in his first debate as compared to Donald Trump. Biden faltered in this debate which lasted for about 90 minutes. 

I will be in the race'

President Joe Biden vowed Friday that "I will stay in the race." In a fiery speech to supporters in Wisconsin and an interview with ABC News, Biden argued that he is the best Democratic candidate to prevent Republican Donald Trump from regaining the White House in the Nov. 5 election.

Democrats are worried whether Biden is the right candidate

Biden's lackluster performance in his first debate with Trump on June 27 has raised serious concerns among some Democrats about his mental stamina at age 81. There is a movement within the party to oust him. Critics warn that he faces a near-certain defeat and could drag other Democrats down with him. A group of House Democrats and senators are expected to discuss the topic when they return to Washington next week.

Questions are being raised on Biden's ability

Some polls have found that one in three Democrats want Biden to drop out of the race. However, Biden has said he is the best candidate to take on Trump. On Friday, Biden questioned Trump's intelligence and called him a liar. Meanwhile, he had sharp words for those in his party who doubt his ability to lead him to victory on November 5.
