News Topical, Digital Desk : A massive explosion took place at an industrial plant in Roseland area of Louisiana, USA on Friday. After the explosion, black smoke spread in the sky and the administration had to immediately evacuate the people nearby.
The incident caused panic in the area, however, it is a matter of relief that no news of anyone being injured has been received so far. This explosion took place at around 1 pm in a company called Smitty's Supply, where lubricants are manufactured.

After the blast, a fire broke out in the plant and smoke spread all around. Several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. Pictures and videos of the blast have surfaced, in which black smoke rising from the factory and the surrounding plants and tanks can be clearly seen.
After the blast, initially a small area was evacuated, but later, for security reasons, people were ordered to be evacuated within a radius of about a mile. The administration says that this step has been taken as a precaution so that no one gets hurt.
Police appealed to the people
After this blast, local people have become concerned about the safety of industrial plants. Officials have advised nearby residents not to go to the area for the time being.
