Borella fainted during shooting
According to Italian media outlets La Repubblica, Il Messaggero and Corriere della Sera, Borella collapsed at around 7pm local time while preparing for a final scene at the historic Hotel Danieli. Doctors on set attempted to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Venice health service said: 'Our ambulance arrived at 6:42pm on Thursday, doctors tried to revive him but ultimately failed and he was pronounced dead at around 7pm.
