Borella fainted during shooting
According to Italian media outlets La Repubblica, Il Messaggero and Corriere della Sera, Borella collapsed at around 7pm local time while preparing for a final scene at the historic Hotel Danieli. Doctors on set attempted to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

After this incident, the production of the upcoming season has been stopped. Borella received training in Venice, Rome, London and New York. Apart from the film and television field, he was also interested in scene creativity literature.

He had been working on location in Italy in recent weeks, with the shoot scheduled to wrap on Monday, August 25. Borella was reportedly due to shoot his final scene first. The Venice health service said: 'Our ambulance arrived at 6:42pm on Thursday, doctors tried to revive him but ultimately failed and he was pronounced dead at around 7pm.
