Caste Census: Now Subhaspa chief and Yogi government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has given a statement on the caste census given in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) meeting in Kerala. During the RSS meeting in Kerala, it was said that the Sangh is ready for caste census, provided it is not used for any political purpose.

Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, said, "Mohan Bhagwat has talked about caste census. We support him. There will be caste census in the NDA alliance." In fact, the RSS meeting started in Palakkad, Kerala from Saturday. On the first day of the All India Coordination Meeting, Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all six co-Sarkaryavahs and other All India officials were present. Apart from this, BJP National President J.P. Nadda also attended the meeting.

Addressing the media here after the day-long coordination meeting of RSS,
RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that caste and caste-relations are a 'very sensitive issue' for Hindu society and it is also important for 'our national unity and integrity'. He was answering a question regarding caste census. He said, "This should be dealt with 'very seriously'.

Ambekar said, "So, as the RSS believes, yes, definitely for all welfare activities, to address issues related to a particular community or caste which is lagging behind, because some communities and castes need special attention. So, for this the government needs data. This exercise is done very well. So, the government collects data. It has collected data earlier also. So, it can take it. There is no problem."

He said, "But it should be only for the welfare of those communities and castes. It should not be used as a political tool for election campaign. That is why we have set a Laxman Rekha for everyone."
