The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India has recently expanded its Futures and Options (F&O) segment, incorporating several new stocks to provide traders with a broader range of investment opportunities.

Recent Additions to the F&O Segment:

November 2024: The NSE added 45 new stocks to its F&O segment, effective from November 29, 2024. Notable inclusions were Zomato, Avenue Supermarts (DMart), and Jio Financial Services, among others. This expansion aimed to enhance market liquidity and offer diversified trading options.

January 2025: Further broadening its F&O offerings, the NSE included six additional stocks effective from January 31, 2025. These stocks are Castrol India, Gland Pharma, NBCC, Phoenix Mills, Solar Industries India, and Torrent Power. This move aligns with the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI) guidelines to ensure a robust and dynamic derivatives market.
