FNG Expressway: There is good news for those who travel between Noida and Faridabad on a daily basis. Work is being carried out at a fast pace on the FNG Expressway project to facilitate movement between Faridabad and Noida and Ghaziabad. Its survey work has been completed. After which the way for the bridge to be built on the Yamuna river between the two cities has been cleared soon. Preparations are on to hand over its command to the National Highway Authority of India.
After the construction of FNG highway, it will prove to be a boon for lakhs of people travelling between Ghaziabad, Noida and Faridabad. According to the information, a meeting has been held recently between the officials of Noida Authority and Public Works Department of Haryana Government regarding this. In which NHAI can be given the responsibility of this.
Travel from Ghaziabad-Noida will become easier.
In this meeting, the bridge to be built on Yamuna and the roads connecting it were also discussed. Noida Authority will build a road connecting the Yamuna bridge in its area. On the other hand, the road of Faridabad's part will be built by Haryana. The detailed project (DPR) of the bridge to be built on Yamuna river has been prepared. About 200 to 250 crore rupees will be spent on this project. Which has been sent for approval.
To connect Faridabad to Noida, a bridge will be constructed on Yamuna in front of Sector 168 Mangaroli. Haryana and Noida Authority will share 50-50 percent of the cost of construction of the bridge. Efforts have been made earlier also regarding FNG Express Way but after that this plan could not move forward.
With the construction of FNG Expressway, the journey from Ghaziabad to Faridabad via Noida will become easier. This will not only reduce the distance between the two cities but will also provide relief from traffic jams and a journey of hours can be completed in just 25 to 30 minutes. This road will be linked to Sector 88 in Faridabad.
