Baj Singh's daughter Baljinder Kaur's marriage was fixed with Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Sarahali Kalan village of Tarn Taran district. Relatives were firing in the air to celebrate Baljinder Kaur's marriage. Suddenly a bullet hit the bride's head. The firing led to a stampede at the wedding ceremony.
