Do not take legal action based on religion- Abu Azmi

Earlier also, while demanding justice for the Beed mosque blast, he had demanded strict legal action against whoever is guilty in this incident. He had said that this case should be investigated strictly. Legal action should not be taken on the basis of religion.

Abu Azmi had said in a statement on March 30 that Muslims have as much right over the country as other people. Atrocities against Muslims should be stopped. He termed the demand to close mutton shops during Navratri as harmful for poor shopkeepers and asked whether the government will compensate for their losses? This is being done only to harass and target Muslims.
