Pune: Police have added charges of destruction of evidence, forgery and offences under Prevention of Corruption Act against the minor accused in the famous Porsche accident case of Pune in Maharashtra. Pune police added these sections while submitting supplementary final report before the Juvenile Justice Board last Thursday. This famous case was registered in Pune on 19th May this year. Initially, during the investigation, a case of 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder' was registered against the minor accused under section 304.

Two IT professionals lost their lives on May 19

The minor boy was allegedly driving a Porsche under the influence of alcohol and his car hit a motorcycle in Kalyani Nagar area on the morning of May 19. A young man and a woman riding on the motorcycle died in this incident. The young man and woman who lost their lives in the accident were IT professionals. A crime branch officer said, 'A supplementary final report was filed before the JJB, which includes charges under sections 201 (causing disappearance of evidence), 213 (accepting gifts to save the offender), 214 (offering gifts or restoration of property to save the offender), 466, 467, 468, 471 (all crimes related to forgery) of the IPC.'

Minor also accused of changing blood sample

The official said that a case was also registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act as the minor was accused of altering the blood samples in connivance with his parents, hospital doctors and some middlemen. It was alleged that the minor altered the blood sample to hide the fact that he was drunk. The official said that technical data about the speed of the car at the time of the incident is also included in the report, along with statements of witnesses to corroborate the newly added sections. The supplementary report was submitted by investigating officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Ganesh Ingle through the special public prosecutor.
