Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday in a direct message to Iranians that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's government fears its own citizens more than it fears Israel.

"That is why they spend so much time and money trying to crush your hopes and curb your dreams. Well, I say this to you - do not let your dreams die. I hear this whisper: Women, life, freedom. Do not lose hope. You must know that Israel and the nations of the world are with you," he said in a video message.

“It cost around $2.3 billion, which is your precious money,” he said, referring to the October 1 ballistic missile attacks that caused minor damage in Israel.

20 killed in Israeli attacks on Mount Lebanon areas

Lebanon's Health Ministry said on Tuesday that at least 20 people were killed and 13 injured in Israeli airstrikes in the Mount Lebanon region. The ministry said 12 people were killed and eight injured in an attack on Joun in Mount Lebanon's Chouf district.

Another explosion in the town of Balchame killed eight people and wounded five, the ministry said. 14 Palestinians killed in Israeli attack in Gaza

The Israeli army has again attacked several places in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian medical officials said that air strikes were carried out at two places, killing 14 people, including two children and a woman. These attacks were carried out in the humanitarian zone declared by Israel.

According to officials, a temporary cafeteria was targeted in the Muwasi humanitarian zone late Monday night. 11 people, including two children, were killed here. This cafeteria was used by displaced people. This attack was carried out a few hours after the Israeli army announced the expansion of the humanitarian zone. Palestinians being evacuated from other parts of Gaza are being asked to take refuge at this place.

Thousands of displaced Palestinian civilians are taking refuge in camps around Muwasi. The second attack was carried out on a house in the Nusrat refugee area in central Gaza. Three people, including a woman, were killed here. However, the Israeli army has not yet given any statement about these attacks.

Meanwhile, eight international aid organisations said Israel had failed to meet US demands to allow more humanitarian aid to reach Gaza, an appeal made by the Biden administration last month.
