Sambhal Violence News: Allahabad High Court ordered the release of social activist Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump, who was arrested for making controversial statements on social media regarding Sambhal violence. After which he was released from jail. Social activist Javed Mohammad had commented on the court's decision on social media regarding Sambhal violence on Sunday evening.  

On the basis of this post, Prayagraj police registered a case and took Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump into custody. After interrogation, Javed Pump was arrested and sent to jail. On behalf of Javed Pump, his daughter filed a habeas corpus petition in Allahabad High Court. Along with filing the petition, a request was also made to Allahabad High Court to select this case on the basis of urgency. The case was heard today in a single bench of Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan.

The UP government told the court that he will be released from jail by evening after submitting a bail bond. After completion of the formalities, Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump has been released from jail. Senior advocates Syed Farman Naqvi and Shashwat Anand presented arguments on behalf of Javed Pump in the High Court.

Javed was accused of inciting people
Javed Pump was accused of trying to incite the people of Prayagraj by posting on social media. Javed Pump was also said to be the mastermind of the violence that took place in Atala, Prayagraj after the statement of BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma in June 2022. In this case, Javed Pump had to stay in jail for about one and a half years. After coming out of jail, Javed Pump went to Lucknow and met SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
