Kedarnath BY Election 2024: The activities of ticket claimants in BJP regarding the Kedarnath by-election have heated up the political atmosphere. A Facebook post by Aishwarya Rawat, daughter of late MLA Shaila Rani Rawat, has created a stir within the party. This post indicated Aishwarya's claim for a ticket from the Kedarnath assembly seat, which the party leadership has taken seriously.

On this, State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar questioned Aishwarya. Aishwarya clarified that her Facebook account was hacked and this post was made and she has also lodged a police complaint in this regard. According to sources, the party is not completely satisfied with Aishwarya's answer and her activities are being monitored.

Given the sensitivity of the by-election, the party is currently in a wait and watch position. The party leadership has not taken any final decision yet and the next steps are being planned only after the tickets are announced. It is believed that the central leadership may announce the candidate by this evening, after which the electoral equations will become more clear.

On the other hand, the statements on social media by Kuldeep Singh Rawat, another major contender for the ticket
, have also made the BJP uncomfortable. Both Kuldeep and Aishwarya are contacting the top leaders of the state to strengthen their claim. It is being said that if they do not get the ticket, they have kept other options open. This has created a state of confusion within the BJP, although the party leadership is not saying anything openly on this.

On this entire development, BJP's state president Mahendra Bhatt said that whoever the candidate is, BJP's victory in Kedarnath is certain. He said that the central leadership has a panel of all the possible names and all the contenders are capable of registering a good victory on this seat. The real objective of the party is to register a victory with record votes and after discussing all the aspects, the official candidate will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rawat has expressed deep concern over the messages being spread in her name through fake Facebook accounts. She alleged that this step has been taken to tarnish her image. Aishwarya says that she does not want any misunderstanding to arise due to such rumors, so she has sent a complaint letter to the police and demanded immediate action.

The central leadership will decide on the ticket.
The party's state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan clarified the entire matter and said that there is no conflict in the party regarding the ticket. Whatever name the central leadership decides on, all the party members will work together. Chauhan also said that the BJP is fully prepared to win the Kedarnath by-election with a big margin.

Amidst all this, the ticket claimants have increased their activity. Meetings with various leaders and top leaders are going on, so that their stand can be strengthened before the final decision. Overall, there is a stir within the BJP regarding the selection of candidate in the Kedarnath by-election, but the party leadership is carefully assessing all the possible situations before the final decision.
