In the Just 2 Filmy podcast, Aamir Khan said, “When Nitesh Tiwari came to discuss the story, I told him it's a fantastic film and I want to do it but I can't do it right now. I have just come out of Dhoom 3 and I look great. My body fat is 9.67 and you want me to play an obese 55-year-old man who is a father of four daughters?”
Aamir's statement on Shah Rukh-Salman
Aamir Khan jokingly said that Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan has sent Nitesh Tiwari to get him out of the industry. Jokingly, the actor said, "Shah Rukh's man has sent you guys or Salman and Shah Rukh have both decided that Nitesh ji should go, give him the role of a 60-year-old man and finish him, throw him out of the industry."
Aamir wanted to postpone it for 10-15 years
Aamir Khan further said that he is still looking young so he will not do this film now. Nitesh should make this film after 10-15 years. Nitesh also agreed to this. Aamir said that the story of Dangal could not get out of his mind so he decided to do that film. He thought that even if his career ends, he will definitely do Dangal and in the end he did the same.
